Barry P Smith Realtor © has been investing in the Real Estate business for about 25 Years. Based in the Santa Clarita Valley near “MAGIC MOUNTAIN”, Barry is the expert to help you with all your home buying and selling needs in Santa Clarita Valley, San Fernando Valley and Greater Los Angeles area.

Specializing in Short Sales, Real Estate Owned Properties (REO), Pre-Foreclosures, Condos, First Time Home Buyers.  He enjoys taking a direct, hands on approach with his clients and is well supported by his superb office staff and team.

He knows how to use the latest internet technologies to market and find homes at an expert level.

He believes that education is paramount to success and has completed intensive training covering a variety of topics from marketing listings for quick sale to negotiating contracts and helping sellers in danger of foreclosure.

His work ethic didn’t start in the real estate industry, but followed him from his past careers. He was awarded the Letter of Commendation from the California Attorney General for stopping an Armed Robbery while working at B.G. Loan & Jewelry Company.

Barry is a member in good standing of the Local Association of REALTORS® Southland Regional Association of Realtors (SRAR), California Association of REALTORS® (CAR), and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) in addition to the SoCal Multiple Listing Service (MLS).

He feels that being a REALTOR® means more than just joining A professional associations, he believes REALTORS® should be involved in the communities where they work as well. Barry has served his community in many capacities such as President of the Bell Gardens Chamber of Commerce and as a Director of the Rio Hondo Boys and Girls Club. He and EXIT Realty also support Habitat for Humanity and to date they have donated over $2 Million to the charity and built more than 15 Habitat Homes.

He understands the stresses and hassles involved in the buying, selling, and relocation process and he strives to alleviate these concerns for his clients as much as possible.
